It is my conviction, based on my study and my observation in years of counseling couples in religiously mixed marriages so-called unequally yoked , that believers should NOT marry unbelievers. Nobody is going to know—I just want to be one with you. Very few people will argue with the premise, however, that the ideal is for believers to marry other believers or otherwise would be unequally yoked. If you are thinking of marrying an unbeliever, do you have the unrealistic expectation of raising your children for God when you can't even submit something as important as your marriage to Him? May God bless you as you seek Him.
Among all these groups, we find we are most happy and at peace when we mostly agree with one another on big issues. Trust the Lord, walk in obedience, and He will meet your needs in His way and in His timing. You may also live to regret it. Upon seeing the error of my ways, the Lord purified me, cleansed me and forgave me of my premarital wrongs.
